“Careful Vin!” JD yelped batting the end of the fishing pole away from his face. “I thought you said you knew how to fish.”
“Yeah,” Buck smiled. “You know, you could put someone’s eye out with that thing.”
Vin blushed slightly and then huffed in frustration. “That’s it!” he said, throwing down the pole. He’d tried to fit in; he’d tried to do thing the way they did them, but he hadn’t caught a fish all day. Sitting down, he stripped off his boots, socks and coat; rolled up his pants legs and sleeves; stood and entered the stream In just a few minutes he had two fish on the shore.
