The gang laughed as Buffy and Xander continued to encourage Willow. They all knew how it felt when the person you crushed on turned out to be of the demon variety.

Willow, however, paused for a moment an tilted her head. A chill ran down her spine and she felt dread brush against her mind. The feeling passed, however, and she soon smiled and laughed with her best friends.

Giles adjusted his glasses, feeling the need to check one last time before letting his professional side fade away and let his true self out to spend time with Jenna. “And you're positive that Moloch is completely gone from the computers. There are no backup copies or storage someplace, no way he got out onto the internet or sent himself somewhere.”

“It's fine, Rupert,” Miss Calendar explained. “We stopped him before he escaped. He's gone for good and shouldn't show up anywhere else, ever.”

“Very well,” Giles relented, smiling and ready for some adult time.

Meanwhile, halfway across the country in the town of Smallville, Kansas, a blonde head focused on the monitor before her. Chloe Sullivan was bound and determined to find the thread that would unlock yet another item for her Wall Of Weird. What made this piece especially useful was that it came from outside of Smallville.

A part of her worried that the meteor-infected people were spreading, but, she also knew not everything linked back to the meteors. Still, it didn't hurt to keep an eyes out for those things just in case.

Turning away from her computer screen, didn't notice is glow briefly before a question appeared on the screen, “Where am I?”

A moment later, that message faded away and an instant message popped up on Chloe's screen..

When she finally turned back, she tilted her head to the side, trying to figure out if she knew the person who IM'd her. “I'm not sure I know a Malcolm,” she murmured, reaching for the keyboard to respond.
